i guess you all know that the next meeting will be on next Saturday (18/4).
For the meeting, is it ok if it starts at 11am and ends at 3pm?
& is it ok if we stick to the same location(we can meet at bedok MRT station first)?

What do we stand up for: LIFE & HAPPINESS!
Target Audience: Secondary School Students
Message we want to promote: love yourself, you have the power to help your friend...
Youth "councillor" to help Youth sucidal- Why?
-We may not know which are the students who have suicidal thoughts and the youth "councillor" can help us
-Empowering Youths
-There will be more impact to suicidal students if youths/their friends are the ones who help them (understand them better)
The 3-day event:
1. Triathlon- to stand up for life & happiness
2. Debate/Concert- to raise awareness
3. Party- to bring fun but at the same time reminding them about the cause
Challenges we may face:
- Require alot of manpower
- a large sum of money needed to hold our events(e.g the concert, triathlon, party)
- there are alot of secondary schools in Singapore and we may not be able to reach out to all the secondary schools
How to promote our events:
- Create a website (students can get to know more about the events)
- Postcards & free goodies
- a talk: a personal recount by a secondary school student
Our Planning for the next few months
1. April- Planning
2. May- Organise
3. June- Execute Plan
Our Agenda for the next meeting:
- come up with time-line for our events
- come up with rough proposal

i'm here again to confirm the meeting on Saturday.
Date & Day: 11 April, Saturday
Time:3-6pm
Meet at Bedok MRT Station
After you have tapped your card(at bedok MRT station), we meet in front of the MRT directory board at 2.50pm. Do have your lunch before the meeting :) The venue is not confirmed yet but i will try to inform all of you by tomorrow :)

Hi our dearest Sherilyn and Sophie!
We are in group 3 and our cause is to STOP PARENTAL ABUSE!!
we'll do it most probably on 23may-school and 30may-some venue like cafe/beach/etc on the 23may,basically we'll do a parent-child day in 3 secondary schools, there'll be essay writing competition on that day that must be done by the parents&child together.
Our basic idea is for the parents to experience what their children go through in schools, the PE, the boring &exciting lessons (maybe the scolding from teachers..haha), etc so that they can understand what's going on with each other's lives la basically.
to form closer ties actually...yup.that's it.[*but i'm not too sure about that myself, PEOPLE, R WE STILL ON WITH THAT IDEA?
the parents attending lessons one? please.please.can someone update?*] then on 30may, we will do some kind of FINALE, prize-giving, free-dinner (*is it?), performances, etc ->programmes to be thought about. the 3 schools will combine together.
so, Sophie, can you do research on the possible programmes on finale, what will make them enjoy themselves there, etcandSherilyn, help us do research on programmes for the school day one...ok?
so we will have more people focusing on the programmes and hopefully our project will be the very-interesting-people-would-love-to-come one.=D

-Terry : documentary (how to, who can do it, any professionals, any publisher, etc)
-Mickey : voluntary organisations that can help us carry out our project, what are they involve in?, what programmes have they done before?
If anyone feels too 'burdened' with their task, know that we can always work together, so just approach any group3 members to do your tasks together or if further help is needed, we can always ASK OUR MENTORS!! =D haha
but of course, we shall not disturb them for some unimportant reasons, until we get the permission to...feel free to ask me if there's anything you don't understand about your job and maybe I can explain (or help you ask someone who understand more if I dunno about it myself)
